Collaborative robots, also called Cobots

Collaborative robots, also called cobots, are used for packaging and kitting offering many advantages to simplify processes, increase productivity and reduce costs.

The word robot can remind us of many Sci-Fi characters such as R2-D2, The Iron Giant or WALL-E. Cobots, automated robots may not be as widely known for starring in Hollywood movies but they give a huge help to packaging lines and beyond.

Nowadays, packaging is increasingly important both to guarantee correct conservation, safe transport and protection of the product it contains, and to satisfy marketing needs and attract consumer attention.

The applications of cobots in the packaging industry are constantly increasing and also activities such as picking & placing on board the machine are of enormous help by increasing uptime and reducing downtime.

Unlike traditional industrial robots, they are designed to work alongside their human counterparts in complete safety, are mobile and can be moved from one area of a plant to another. Extremely easy to program, they are more cost effective than their stationary counterparts and can be deployed to handle a range of repetitive applications at different speeds.

The movements of the cobot can be recorded quickly even by inexperienced users who can easily configure them via the console.

We have included automated robots in our assembly lines to speed up production processes, streamline the work of operators and to be able to carry out various packaging jobs efficiently.
